The Grand Avenue Business Association presents the 5th annual Paws on Grand. In addition to great sales and happenings all along the avenue, learn more about our pet rescue partners and bringing a rescue pet into your home!

 The Pet Project helps people keep their pets by providing pet food, basic supplies, connections to veterinary care and information on finding pet-friendly housing to pet owners who are struggling. Learn more about The Pet Project at information tables at the corner of Grand & Victoria, Kowalski’s and Whole Foods Market. You’ll also find free pet sitting, doggie wading pools and water for your pet.
The Pet Project has a goal of collecting 5000 lbs of pet food during Paws on Grand! Drop off unopened bags of food to businesses with the ● next to their name from July 19-August 1. During Paws on Grand, food will collected in the College Muscle Movers truck parked at Kowalski’s, 1261 Grand. Donations will be delivered to area food shelves to support families in need.

 Enter the PET PICKS contest by uploading your pet’s photo at MinneapolisPicks.com or stop by the Minneapolis Picks booth at Grand & Grotto to have your pet’s picture taken. Vote for your favorite pet photo at MinneapolisPicks.com . Winner will be featured in Minneapolis Picks, named Poster Pet for 2011 Paws on Grand and receive gift bag of goodies from dogbooties.com and Awaken the Spirit Equine & Canine Sports Massage! Photos must be submitted by Aug 1. Voting ends Aug 7.
