Pop Up Show: David Ekdahl - wood totems -- Friday, February 1 and Saturday, February 2 - 12:00 - 5:00pm
St. Paul artist David Ekdahl will join us in the gallery with his current cast of carved totems. Working with the elongated parameters of his base material – found sticks and reclaimed wood – David gives life to expressive characters by building, carving and marking his unique figures.
Jewelry Trunk Show: Karin Jacobson -- Tuesday, February 12 and Wednesday, February 13 - 12:00 - 5:00pm
Meet Minnesota jewelry artist Karin Jacobson as she brings her entire current selection of work into the gallery for you to choose from – just in time for Valentine’s Day! Karin’s work combines great contemporary design with innovative use of materials, chosen to be easy on the earth and on your pocketbook!
Leslie Pilgrim - painting and Ernest Miller - clay -- February 23 - March 31
Opening Reception: Saturday, February 23 - 5:00 - 7:00 pm
Leslie (left) suggests landscape and evokes moods in her color-rich acrylic on wood compositions finished with gleaming surfaces.
Ernest (right) combines his skills in throwing, building and glazing to create clay forms that range from generous, traditional bowls to funky, fun robots.
